Volkswagen Touran Sports

Decides to get another car... You guys may wonder why I chose a problematic VW again...

Well, yes... I'm worried still. Gearbox issue like clutch and MU, engine issues like piston cracked... And yes, it's the "famous" 7sp DSG paired with a 170bhp 1.4L twincharged engine. Now why another VW leh?

Well, the answer is simple. Frankly, most cars does gives problem. Some may be minor while some are, oh well, MAJOR! Since I'm pretty familiar with the VW twincharged engine, might as well leverage on this experience and extend to this Touran.

Anyway, cut story short, I'm not sure if VCS brings in the R-Line version of the Touran (especially after VW experienced some issues). Nevertheless, the Touran came with some R badges...

Ok, enough of words... Let the picture tells the remaining thousands words...

  3. Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

Yes, the R brakes are direct fit, and they are pretty rims friendly too... No need custom brackets.

Cost wise, depends if u want to get new or used. Believe new ones could be in the region of $2.5-$3k for front and rear set (exclude installation).

  5. Hi, thanks for dropping by... I got the parts from Volkswagen Center Singapore. You could also try local stockist for them.

    Hope that helps.
